Alvarez & Marsal Holdings, LLC engaged Align to help establish standards, improve service and optimize network and voice services across its global footprint. A&M needed to transition to a VPLS network model and improve internet redundancy at more than 40 global locations but lacked internal bandwidth, so Align was contracted to provide Project Management and additional subject-matter experts to support the network improvement program.

Align led the VPLS transition and managed a portfolio of critical projects—new office build-outs, data center migrations, wireless expansions and upgrades—delivering the initial objectives and improving redundancy across 40+ sites while maximizing office productivity. Align is now moving the rest of A&M’s global portfolio to a unified voice solution and continuing work on data center consolidation, IT infrastructure, monitoring tools and office refreshes.
