How InVision Human Services eliminated “swivel chair” process when onboarding new staff

InVision Human Services, a 500-employee non-profit health services organization, faced a manual and inefficient "swivel chair" process for onboarding new staff. They were using multiple applications for HCM and their HRIS team had to manually enter each new hire into their separate scheduling system. To streamline this, they turned to vendor Align HCM for a solution.

Align HCM created a configurable API service to sync data from UKG Pro into the scheduling system automatically. This service pulled new hires, changes, and terminations and applied logic to assign appropriate security profiles. As a result, InVision now has better real-time data control and, empowered by detailed documentation, can manage the system independently. The solution from Align HCM eliminated the manual process, giving the client full control over their data sync frequency.
