West Tennessee Healthcare, a large not-for-profit system based in Jackson, TN with more than 7,000 employees, needed to modernize a dated, paper-heavy enrollment process and consolidate fragmented benefits platforms to drive engagement and support a successful annual enrollment. To meet that challenge it partnered with Alight Solutions, implementing Alight’s benefits administration and Alight Benefits Guidance (ABG) to provide a single, modern benefits platform and personalized counselor support.

Alight Solutions consolidated most benefits onto one platform, provided call-center and counselor-led guidance, and used multi-channel communications to reach employees where they are. The effort delivered measurable results: 100% of post-enrollment employees reported they had the necessary information to understand their benefits, and 98% said counselors gave them the information needed to choose the right plans—while HR teams experienced immediate relief as Alight became an extension of their staff.
