Genmab rapidly moving to a virtual learning model with Workday Learning

Genmab, an international biotechnology company headquartered in Copenhagen, needed to rapidly enable virtual training when COVID‑19 sent employees home. As an existing Workday customer, Genmab partnered with Alight Solutions to accelerate the rollout of Workday Learning so employees could continue training, stay compliant, and maintain business continuity.

Alight Solutions leveraged its existing Application Management Services relationship to configure and deploy Workday Learning in a 12‑week project (kick‑off 18 May 2020, go‑live 24 Aug 2020) with two weeks of post‑production support. The implementation delivered a seamless learning experience—over 280 classes were taken in the two weeks after go‑live and Genmab recorded more than 140 Courses, Lessons and Offerings year‑to‑date—helping sustain skills and compliance for a virtual workforce.
