Using Alibaba.com, iCracked shifted from buying through wholesalers on eBay and Amazon to working directly with manufacturers, helping reduce costs and maintain quality. The result was faster growth, with sales increasing by more than 35%, more than 100 locations by November 2011, and expansion into Canada, South Africa, Sweden, and Germany.
