Naneon LLC, a U.S.-based nanotech coating company, was looking for a strong B2B platform to expand beyond its early market presence and improve sales. With limited inquiries, an underdeveloped website, and few business connections outside the U.S., the company turned to Alibaba.com and its services to help grow internationally.
Alibaba.com, along with the Booster service, helped Naneon LLC professionalize its online presence, improve product listings, and better manage buyer inquiries. As a result, monthly inquiries grew from 6 to about 60, roughly half converted into sales, and the company reported more than US$5 million in sales through Alibaba in one year, with customers and distributors now on six continents.
