Hapro, the Ho Chi Minh Branch of Hanoi Trade Corporation, is a Vietnamese manufacturer, importer, and exporter of handicrafts and agricultural products. After years of finding customers through trade fairs, the company faced increasing competition and declining customer numbers, so it turned to Alibaba.com to find new markets and grow sales.

Alibaba.com first connected Hapro as a Free Member in 2007, and later its Gold Supplier Membership gave the company tools like TradeManager and BizTrends to build its brand, manage online business, and improve lead quality. As a result, Hapro began receiving more quality inquiries, gained customers in the US, China, Russia, and Spain, and reported that about a quarter of its inquiries are now quality leads.
