Hagimex, a Vietnam-based agriculture company, started as a small business with just five employees and limited funding. Although it used Alibaba.com as a free member to find customers, it struggled with a limited number of inquiries and wanted a stronger way to reach buyers worldwide.
By upgrading to Alibaba.com Gold Supplier membership, Hagimex expanded its product showcase to more than 800 listings and gained much greater visibility. The results were significant: the company received about 300 inquiries per month, 90% of them from Alibaba.com, with 10% converting into real orders. This helped Hagimex grow into a nearly 100-employee manufacturer and secure average contracts of about US$15,000, with some reaching US$200,000.
