Aurora Craft, a Vietnamese manufacturer and exporter of ornamental earthenware for the Home & Garden industry, wanted to expand overseas in 2003 but faced a major challenge: finding new customers without spending heavily on direct marketing and trade shows. By upgrading to Alibaba.com Gold Supplier and building out its minisite with nearly 1,000 products in the first three months, Aurora Craft quickly gained traction. Alibaba.com helped the company sign six new contracts in the first month, generate around 100 inquiries per month on average, and ultimately drive about 70% of total company revenue through orders from the platform.
