Moghal Enterprises, a tools and knife trading business in Pakistan led by Mr. Ansar Mahmood, started as a startup after he lost his government contract job in 2011. Facing pressure to support his family, he needed a way to promote his company and reach buyers, and turned to Alibaba.com to list products and access buying leads (RFQs).
With guidance from Alibaba.com consultant Carrie and advice from existing Gold Members, Moghal Enterprises upgraded to Gold Membership in early 2013. Through Alibaba.com’s preferred and recommended RFQs, full inquiry access, and product showcase, the company met over 70 quality buyers and generated business transactions of more than Rs. 1 million in about 11 months, with 3 customers becoming regular buyers.
