ViSenze is an artificial intelligence company that develops visual search and image recognition tools for e-commerce, m-commerce, and online advertising. As it scaled internationally, it needed a way to improve the customer experience while dynamically scaling up or down with traffic, backed by large storage capacity and strong backup options. It also wanted to avoid risk to its existing infrastructure and reduce upfront costs.

Alibaba Cloud migrated ViSenze’s operations to the cloud using Elastic Compute Service (ECS) and Server Load Balancer. The setup allowed uninterrupted service, automatic scaling based on traffic fluctuations, pay-as-you-go pricing, and unlimited storage capacity, while supporting Mesos and Docker container services for its image recognition system.
