Schneider Electric, a global electricity distribution and automation management company with operations in more than 100 countries, needed a cloud solution for its Remote Energy Management platform. The company had to handle high computational operations, store and analyze large amounts of data, and support a scalable energy management service with real-time information.

Using Alibaba Cloud, Schneider Electric deployed the platform on Elastic Compute Service, Table Store, MaxCompute, Server Load Balancer, and ApsaraDB for RDS. Alibaba Cloud provided the global coverage, China market access, and elastic infrastructure Schneider Electric needed to process data, balance traffic, and expand its IT environment alongside business growth.
