KingSouq is a Dubai-based e-commerce marketplace that works with global brands to sell consumer products across the Middle East and South Asia. As the business expanded, it needed to move away from a legacy SQL-based hosting setup and migrate its website to the cloud to improve shopping experience, performance, and security. The company initially failed twice to complete the migration on its own before working with Alibaba Cloud and using ECS (Elastic Compute Service).
