Haleon, a global leader in consumer health, sought to develop a fully automated, real-time service delivery system to handle a large volume of consumer health inquiries. The challenge was to ensure a premium, hyper-personalized customer experience without compromising on efficiency or scientific rigor. To address this, Haleon partnered with Alibaba Cloud.

Alibaba Cloud implemented a solution powered by its Tongyi Qianwen (Qwen) large language model, which was integrated with Haleon's proprietary knowledge graph using retrieval-augmented generation (RAG). This AI nutrition assistant provided efficient and personalized health support. The solution delivered a six-fold increase in efficiency, enabling a single nutritionist to serve over 1,300 consumers compared to the 200 typically handled on other platforms.
