Greendify is an e-commerce company that buys and sells pre-owned consumer electronics, including smartphones, tablets, laptops, and desktops. As it prepared to launch in Hong Kong and the China market, it needed an ICP license and wanted a provider that could offer full-stack technology and business solutions. After more than five years on AWS for other projects, Greendify chose Alibaba Cloud.

Alibaba Cloud now supports Greendify’s e-commerce service and associated systems in the Hong Kong, China, and Singapore regions using Container Services and IaaS services. The company uses products including ECS, Auto Scaling, Server Load Balancer, OSS, ApsaraDB for RDS, Redis, E-MapReduce, Anti-DDoS, and WAF. Greendify says Alibaba Cloud helped reduce operating and development costs, support traffic spikes of up to 100 percent, and maintain 99.99% run time so far.
