Easymeeting, a video conferencing business unit within Avikom, was growing its service platform across several co-locations and cloud providers and needed a global provider that could help optimize cost. After considering other options, the company chose Alibaba Cloud, using Elastic Compute Service (ECS), because of its pricing, global coverage, and the chance to work more closely with its provider.

Alibaba Cloud supported Easymeeting’s platform installation, and the company said each stage of the process was easy and effective, from tech setup to payment options. Easymeeting also noted that Alibaba Cloud’s global colocations fit its low-latency video conferencing needs and that it expects to expand deployment to Asia, the EU, and the USA with conferencing nodes, call managers, proxies, and policy servers.
