Case Study: Conversant improves TV5 latency with Alibaba Cloud

Conversant is a Singapore-based technology company that works with digital media enablement solutions for telecom, content, media, and other enterprises. It wanted to help its customer TV5, a major Filipino commercial television network, move from Amazon to a new cloud provider while keeping price, quality, and value at least as good as before.

Conversant partnered with Alibaba Cloud and continued using its CDN services for TV5. With servers deployed in Hong Kong, internal latency testing showed AWS at 346ms and Alibaba Cloud at 96ms. Conversant said Alibaba Cloud’s cloud infrastructure products also made it easier to expand elastic computing services and scale for the customer.
