Chow Sang Sang Holdings International Ltd, a major jewelry retailer in Asia Pacific with nearly 1,000 stores, faced the challenge of building a secure and reliable human resource management system for its over 10,000 employees. The system needed to prevent data leakage, be cost-effective to maintain, and support operations like attendance and payroll. They partnered with vendor Alibaba Cloud to find a solution using products like Elastic Compute Service (ECS) and PolarDB.

The solution implemented by Alibaba Cloud used a suite of its products including computing, storage, security, and networking services to create a highly-integrated system. This approach accelerated system construction by about five times and provided fast, secure access for all employees. As a result, Chow Sang Sang saved considerably on local deployment and hardware costs, achieving a smooth and secure digital experience that supports its digital transformation goals.
