A.I. Nemo, a Chinese AI hardware startup founded in 2014, needed reliable and scalable computing resources, stable and affordable bandwidth, secure storage, content distribution, and protection against cyber attacks. Because its online broadcasting and video services had to serve users in China and around the world with very low latency and low packet loss, the company evaluated several cloud providers before choosing Alibaba Cloud.

A.I. Nemo migrated its entire infrastructure to Alibaba Cloud and now uses services including Elastic Compute Service, Server Load Balancer, ApsaraDB for RDS, Object Storage Service, Alibaba Cloud CDN, MaxCompute, Alibaba Cloud Security, and CloudMonitor. With this setup, it grew from 10 virtual servers to more than 200, no longer needs full-time technical O&M staff, and can handle nearly 10 million service requests, over 10,000 on-demand video requests, tens of thousands of video calls, and live video conferences for several thousand users each day.
