LBiSat, a satellite-based telecommunications provider serving customers in more than 100 countries, wanted to expand beyond basic dial tone services to offer Class-5 voice functionality without sacrificing the high quality and low latency required for satellite communications. The company needed a hosted VoIP partner that could support remote and disaster-response use cases while avoiding capital expenditure, and it chose Alianza’s cloud PBX/hosted VoIP platform.
Alianza implemented a fully integrated cloud communications solution that combined voice quality, low latency, E911 compliance, billing, provisioning, and API-driven management on a single platform. As a result, LBiSat was able to launch complete voice and data communications services, quickly add 20 to 30 new lines per week for one fast-growing oil-rig customer, and provide flexible month-to-month service for the U.S. Forest Service during fire season. Alianza also helped LBiSat become more competitive with a scalable, high-quality, and cost-effective VoIP offering.
