The Flemish Department of Work and Social Economy wanted to modernize its aging on-premises business intelligence environment and move away from an expensive, outdated cloud option as its IT contract neared expiry. It partnered with Algorhythm to design a new analytics architecture that would support innovation, self-service BI, and externally embedded dashboards, with Snowflake on AWS and Tableau as the chosen tools.

Algorhythm helped implement the new cloud-based data platform, enabling faster data access, broader user access, and more flexible reporting across the department. The department expects a lower total cost of ownership over the full lifecycle thanks to reduced hosting costs in Snowflake and more value from Tableau’s unlimited-user licensing, while also gaining stronger privacy and security, better governance, and a clearer path to self-service BI.
