Ledger, a provider of secure hardware wallets and the Ledger Live companion app, needed to expand support for digital assets while maintaining the highest level of security for users storing crypto outside an exchange. To address this, Ledger worked with Algorand to add support for the ALGO native token in Ledger Live.

With Algorand, Ledger users can now store and stake ALGO directly in Ledger Live, creating opportunities to earn passive income while benefiting from hardware-wallet security. The integration also supports Algorand Standard Assets (ASA), giving token holders an added layer of key protection and expanding Ledger’s compatibility to more than just the native token.
