Pizza Hut UK, a global pizza chain operating 400+ stores, faced heavy reporting complexity and delays from manual accounting for store closures, suspensions and refranchising. The QSR lacked a single source of truth across sales, operations, digital and HR, required over 500 hours/month with a 20‑person team for reporting, and often saw 6–8 hour lags between business requests and report availability. To solve this, Pizza Hut engaged Algonomy and deployed Algonomy’s Restaurant Analytics.
Algonomy implemented a Data Lake and its Restaurant Analytics platform, decommissioning two legacy systems and delivering role-based dashboards, real-time order integration with Pizza Hut’s portal/app, and advanced analytics across sales, operations, promotions, LMS and guest experience. As a result Algonomy reduced reporting to 40 hours/month (a 92% efficiency gain), eliminated reporting lag, preserved data integrity via built-in ETL logic, drove high BI adoption (≈75 minutes/user/day) and sped up customer refund processing by 70%, enabling faster, insight-driven decisions.
