Case Study: Keells achieves 92% faster supplier onboarding and automated supplier processes with Algonomy's Supplier Collaboration Platform

A Algonomy Case Study

Preview of the Keells Case Study

How Keells fostered true supplier collaboration and achieved remarkable efficiencies in supplier processes

Keells, a leading supermarket chain in Sri Lanka with 123+ outlets and over 700 suppliers, faced slow, manual supplier processes, poor data visibility, time‑consuming rebate calculations, error‑prone product onboarding, invoice disputes and delays, and high administrative burden. To address these issues, Keells partnered with Algonomy and adopted Algonomy’s Supplier Collaboration Platform (implemented as the Keells Advance Network Exchange, KANE) to unify supplier workflows and data sharing.

Algonomy’s platform digitized supplier onboarding and catalog management, enabled EDI integration, automated 3‑way invoice matching and rebate calculations, and provided real‑time demand and insights sharing. The KANE implementation delivered measurable impact for Keells: supplier onboarding time fell by 92%, new product onboarding accelerated by 85%, invoice processing became largely automated (around 81% automated 3‑way reconciliation), rebate management productivity improved by about 30% with fully accurate calculations, and master‑data accuracy and supplier satisfaction significantly increased — all achieved using Algonomy’s solution.
