Consum Cooperativa Valenciana, the largest cooperative in the Spanish Mediterranean with 790 stores and 3.5 million customers, struggled with siloed, disconnected systems that prevented a unified customer view and omni-channel personalization—resulting in low digital penetration and weak targeting on its website and mobile app. To tackle this, Consum engaged Algonomy and implemented Algonomy’s Customer Data Platform and Customer Journey Orchestration solution.
Algonomy ingested and unified customer data, exposed a single customer snapshot via API, applied advanced analytics and orchestrated personalized campaigns across email, mobile, website, SMS, POS and more (including household-level segmentation and real-time wallet/app updates). As a result, Algonomy helped Consum achieve an 8–10% improvement in visit frequency, a 19% increase in average basket value and a reduction in visit latency from 13 to 5 days, while enabling real-time retargeting and measurable campaign optimization.
