US-based Outdoor Gear and Apparel Retailer Company, a prominent American retailer of premium outdoor gear, apparel and rentals with extensive store and app channels, sought to accelerate adds-to-cart, conversions and revenue per visit. The retailer worked with Algonomy and focused on deploying Algonomy’s Social Proof Messaging to validate shopper choices and drive faster purchase decisions.

Algonomy’s Social Proof Messaging was deployed on Product Detail Pages using a self-serve UI, with four traffic-split variants testing “Viewed Today,” “Added to Cart Today,” and “Purchased Today” messages (threshold = 2) placed above the Add to Cart button. Algonomy’s solution produced substantial lifts versus control: the “Purchased Today” message drove +76% adds-to-cart, +81% orders and +53% RPV; the “Added to Cart Today” message delivered +54% adds-to-cart, +57% orders and +39% RPV; and the “Viewed Today” message achieved +31% adds-to-cart, +34% orders and +21% RPV.
