How The Hershey Company sweetened the digital experience with Algolia Search

The Hershey Company, a leading global confectionery brand behind names like Hershey’s and Reese’s, relied on inspirational content for 70–80% of consumer traffic but was held back by an end-of-life, hard-to-manage search platform that couldn’t support rich content or quick updates. The Digital Experience team needed a scalable solution that would let business and IT teams rapidly merchandize and improve the customer journey.

Hershey implemented Algolia across its sites—integrating with Adobe Commerce and Experience Cloud and using features like Search, Recommend, Insights, Rules, Visual Editor, and A/B testing—launched in early 2022.
