Hager Group Charges Up Its Digital Transformation With Algolia

Hager Group, a family-owned electrical manufacturer with a vast catalog of highly technical products (tens of thousands per country) and a large web estate, needed to improve the customer journey that begins on its websites. Their challenge was to surface relevant, context-sensitive information for tradespeople from complex product data, make search easy for marketing teams to manage, and scale across many sites running Adobe Commerce powered by Magento.

To meet that need Hager’s Digital Factory deployed Algolia Search across the 10 highest-traffic sites, integrating it with Magento and the company’s PIM. The result was fast, relevant dynamic search for ~20,000 products per site, fewer steps to find the right products, improved customer experience even on weak networks, and an easier-to-use solution for both technical and non-technical staff — with plans to expand Algolia to more sites and features.
