P&V Group is a Belgian multi‑brand insurance company that, after acquiring Vivium and other businesses, faced major records‑management and archiving challenges: large volumes of scanned insurance and HR documents, low OCR recognition, and the need to migrate from an outdated system to a single standard platform that could support Document Management (DM), Enterprise Content Management (ECM) and future Web Content Management (WCM) needs.

Working with Alfresco and implementation partner XeniT, P&V deployed Alfresco Document Management to migrate the archive, automate ingestion and optimize document flows. Results included first‑scan recognition rising from under 60% to 97%, successful migration of an archive exceeding 14 million documents, automated online access, an Actel site moved to Alfresco WCM and ongoing agent web access and expansion plans.
