Case Study: SuperIQ achieves scalable, real-time document delivery and workflow automation with Alfresco

A Alfresco Case Study

Preview of the SuperIQ Case Study

Australian finance firm delivers information fast to trustees and finance professionals thanks to Hyland's Alfresco platform

SuperIQ is a market-leading Australian self-managed superannuation fund (SMSF) technology and administration service that lets advisors, accountants and trustees set up and manage funds online. As a fast-growing, web-based start-up, it needed a secure, standards-compliant document and digital-asset solution that delivered real-time access, automated workflows and the ability to scale affordably as customer numbers and regulatory record-keeping demands rose.

After evaluating options, SuperIQ implemented Alfresco, deployed in weeks alongside VMware, Red Hat and PostgreSQL. Alfresco now stores about 150,000 documents for roughly 4,500 funds, serves around 2,000 users via an API, and provides powerful indexing and workflow automation for fast, compliant retrieval; the company expects the solution to scale to support documentation for about 20,000 funds while keeping costs and operational overheads under control.
