Orizon Aerostructures, a manufacturing and technology company specializing in aerospace manufacturing and complex subassemblies, reviewed its emergency preparedness after two separate incidents exposed gaps in internal communication: an unknown individual at one facility’s front desk and a severe storm that caused a power outage at another. The company, which has five facilities across Kansas and Oklahoma, needed stronger mass notification capabilities to protect staff and improve emergency communication.

Orizon switched from another mass notification system to Alertus Technologies and deployed the Alertus System at two Midwestern sites. The rollout included Alertus Desktop Notification, Alert Beacon, digital signage, and the Alertus Console, giving the safety team scalable and customizable alerting tools. Orizon said communication has significantly improved, and during a tornado watch the ability to notify everyone immediately provided peace of mind.
