Senior Living Community Paradise Valley Estates Keeps Residents Connected With AlertMedia

Paradise Valley Estates, a 76-acre nonprofit senior living community in Fairfield, California, needed a faster way to communicate with residents and staff during emergencies. After a wildfire evacuation in 2018 exposed the limits of door-to-door and mailbox notifications, the community turned to AlertMedia’s emergency communication software.

With AlertMedia, Paradise Valley Estates can send multichannel notifications by text, email, landline, mobile phone, and mobile app push, and it can segment messages by location or audience. The team says it can now get a message out within 60 seconds, freed up to 20 staff members during a wildfire evacuation, and used AlertMedia to help identify two dozen residents who needed evacuation assistance.
