Severe California Wildfires Drive Glen Eden Sun Club To Add AlertFind ENS

Glen Eden Sun Club, a naturalist resort and RV park in Temescal Valley, CA, faced serious wildfire and mudslide risk after nearby fires (one came within 200 feet of a residence). Relying on slow, manual block-captain notifications that could take an hour, the resort searched vendors and selected AlertFind’s emergency notification system (ENS) for its mobile app and secure off-network alerting to ensure messages could be sent even if local networks failed.

AlertFind worked with Glen Eden to implement the ENS the same day, enabling three-stage evacuation alerts (warning, voluntary, mandatory) and rapid mass communication from anywhere. Since deployment the resort sent 7 mandatory evacuations, 7 voluntary evacuations and 37 updates, achieved a 55% response rate within five minutes, and expanded use to road closures, power outages and events—improving safety and prompting about 300 members to thank the team for timely alerts.
