Entergy, headquartered in New Orleans, needed to improve identity and access management across its utility operations as it faced multiple internal audit findings, slow account certifications, and growing NERC CIP compliance demands. The company also wanted to streamline and standardize work processes, reduce human error, integrate 1,000+ disparate applications and systems, and eliminate orphan IDs across IT, OT, and physical security.

AlertEnterpise implemented an end-to-end security convergence solution centered on the Guardian Suite, Big Data Engine, Mobile Platform, IT/OT/Physical Connector Framework, Policy Engine, and Access Reviews and Certification module. The solution automated hire-to-retire access management, centralized governance and compliance, improved self-service and password resets, and accelerated onboarding, terminations, and access reviews; it also laid the groundwork for tighter integration with SAP SuccessFactors and SAP Concur, plus FireEye for broader situational awareness.
