Tishknet Optimized Its LTE Network With an Alepo HSS Solution, Creating a High-performance Network Environment

Tishknet, a modern telecommunications company in Kurdistan, Iraq, needed a scalable way to support its growing LTE subscriber base while avoiding vendor lock-in and reducing total cost of ownership. After working with Alepo on previous WiMAX projects, the operator selected Alepo’s HSS solution for its LTE network rather than the HSS offered by its infrastructure vendor.

Alepo deployed two HSS servers in a highly available configuration with active-active and active-passive redundancy, integrated with the legacy MME, CRM, SNMP management, and LTE authentication services. The result was a more resilient network with 99% system uptime and 99.999% service uptime, a 25% reduction in TCO, and a 25% improvement in QoE within one month.
