Telecom Niue launches 4G LTE service using Blue Arcus and Alepo's Solution

Telecom Niue, the main telecom provider in Niue and the sole fixed and mobile voice operator, needed to transform its legacy network to launch 4G LTE and support new services such as VoLTE. The existing system could not handle LTE, convergent billing, or digital self-care, so Telecom Niue turned to Alepo, working alongside Blue Arcus, for a Digital BSS transformation.

Alepo deployed its Digital BSS solution in just two months, including AAA, PCRF, OCS, convergent billing, mediation, web self-care, and a companion mobile app, plus PayPal payment integration. The new platform enabled zero-downtime migration, zero reported data errors, and new LTE/VoLTE services; within months, 50% of Niue’s population had signed up for LTE, coverage increased by 100%, and Telecom Niue reduced OPEX by 20%.
