Pana powers 200,000+ stablecoin users with Alchemy

Pana, a financial app for digital nomads and immigrants, faced challenges scaling its stablecoin remittance service. Its infrastructure, which relied on public RPCs and self-hosted nodes, could not provide the reliability required for real-money payments, leading to delayed transfers and failed transactions. Furthermore, requiring non-crypto-native users to hold ETH for gas fees created a poor user experience. Pana turned to vendor Alchemy and its Node RPC and Gasless Transactions products for a solution.

Alchemy implemented a high-availability RPC for reliable blockchain connectivity and gas sponsorship to abstract away all transaction fees for users. This solution allowed Pana to support over 200,000 users and process tens of thousands of stablecoin transactions daily. With Alchemy's infrastructure, Pana eliminated engineering overhead, reduced transaction failure rates, and was able to offer zero-gas remittances to Latin America, enabling it to operate profitably on thin margins.
