iCOMP, a Kent, Washington software firm serving the Workers’ Compensation market, needed a better way to track bugs, feature requests and licensing information than the Excel spreadsheets they were using. Wanting full control of their data and a purchased license rather than a hosted subscription, iCOMP selected Alcea Technologies and its FIT Tracking Solutions web‑based issue‑tracking software to meet those needs.

Alcea Technologies implemented FIT’s web-based system with multi-user access and an anonymous issue‑entry form embedded in iCOMP’s support site, so customers can submit bugs without logging in and receive an email with a bug ID to track status. The solution replaced manual spreadsheets, improved customer relations and product quality, streamlined collaboration across sites, and allowed iCOMP to centrally track licensing and documentation.
