CSI Pharmacy, a U.S. specialty pharmacy serving patients in 37 states, needed a more robust way to support its growing home infusion nursing operations. As demand surged during the pandemic, its paper-based processes and legacy systems made scheduling, billing, and document review inefficient and risky for errors. CSI Pharmacy turned to AlayaCare for a customizable home care software platform with integrated scheduling and documentation capabilities.

AlayaCare implemented its platform in stages starting in September 2020, with one-on-one nurse training, regional rollouts, and hands-on support to tailor workflows for payroll, mileage, and clinical notes. The result was a smoother transition and early adoption by about 60 nurses by January, with improved task completion visibility, color-coded scheduling, and less manual work. CSI Pharmacy said AlayaCare’s flexibility positioned it to further integrate with EMR systems and streamline patient onboarding in the future.
