Option Care Health rolls out new software system amidst pandemic in full partnership with AlayaCare

Option Care Health, a national infusion therapy provider serving more than 185,000 people a year across the U.S., needed a better way to support rapid growth, improve collaboration, and reduce the time nurses and pharmacists spent on manual documentation and scheduling. To maintain its “national reach with a local touch,” the company wanted a mobile-friendly technology solution that would make care teams more efficient while keeping care consistent across locations.

Option Care Health implemented AlayaCare’s cloud-based home care platform, including its mobile app, REST API integrations, telehealth capabilities, and centralized scheduling tools. With AlayaCare, staff gained real-time access to documentation and scheduling, streamlined collaboration across care teams, and a more virtual deployment process; eight months after launch, 87 sites were in some phase of rollout. The result was improved productivity, better care consistency, and more time for clinicians to focus on patients.
