Lifematters, a home care, skilled nursing and personal companionship provider in the Washington, D.C. metro area, wanted to expand into new markets, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen its relationships with Medicare Advantage plans and other value-based payment models. To support these goals, the company turned to AlayaCare and its flexible home care platform, including the AlayaSphere ecosystem and APIs, to improve client lifecycle management.

With AlayaCare, Lifematters and partner Rubi Works built custom workflows for invoicing and caregiver communications. The solution enabled clients to view and pay invoices online, while also sending automated text reminders to caregivers before visits and at clock-out times, improving convenience, communication, and schedule adherence. Although the case study does not cite hard numbers, AlayaCare helped Lifematters deliver a more modern customer experience and operate with greater flexibility and efficiency.
