SCOR, the global reinsurer with 3,000 employees across 39 countries, wanted to turn sporadic local volunteering into a structured worldwide employee purpose program. Working with Alaya and its employee purpose platform, SCOR needed a way to centralize volunteer opportunities, give employees a single place to find and create activities, and better support offices with very different levels of social engagement.
Alaya helped SCOR launch “SCOR for Good” through an all-in-one platform supported by a network of regional ambassadors and local champions, plus company-wide volunteer time. This approach enabled the program to scale quickly across geographies, delivering 41% active users in 7 months and launching in 67% of countries in the same period, surpassing SCOR’s original 10% participation target for one year.
