How Keller Williams Governs Its Data with Alation and Anomalo

Keller Williams, the world’s largest real estate franchise by agent count with roughly 190,000 agents and headquartered in Austin, TX, relies on massive amounts of listing and operational data to support its agent-centric business. Its Enterprise Information Management team profiles more than 70 TB of data daily and needed a way to govern 1,300+ enterprise lakehouse tables, ensure data quality, and make trusted data easily accessible across the company.

To meet that need KW implemented Alation as its data catalog and Anomalo for data quality monitoring, leveraging their native integration to view quality in context. Using Alation to prioritize assets, KW put deep monitoring on 250+ tables and broader observability across the estate, resulting in 70+ TB governed and monitored, significant improvements in data literacy and accessibility, and an estimated 10x cost savings versus legacy bundled solutions.
