Endeavour Energy, a New South Wales utility serving nearly three million customers and managing data for more than 20 million assets, faced major challenges accessing and trusting data spread across many silos and 30 legacy systems as it moved to SAP and Azure. The organisation needed a scalable, user-friendly solution to improve data access, quality and support its broader digital transformation.

Endeavour selected Alation’s data intelligence platform, integrating it with SAP, Microsoft Azure Synapse and Power BI, and rolled it out across 15 data domains with dedicated data stewards and governance workflows.
