Risco Group, an Israel‑based provider of IP‑based integrated security solutions, moved to a SaaS model with a growing 22‑server web farm and strict telecom‑grade 24/7 availability requirements. They faced scalability and performance bottlenecks because ASP.NET session state and frequent database reads overloaded their database, risking system degradation. To solve this, Risco Group partnered with Alachisoft and deployed its NCache product.

Alachisoft implemented NCache as a separate replicated in‑memory caching tier (two cache servers) with most of the 22 web servers as clients, eliminating many database hits for session and application data. The replicated clustering delivered redundancy (preventing data loss if a server fails), near‑linear scalability, and roughly 600 transactions per second in production, giving Risco Group improved speed, reliability and the 24/7 stability they required.
