Case Study: Cybercom Group achieves scalable, high-availability ASP.NET session storage with Alachisoft's NCache

Cybercom Group, an international IT consultancy, was supporting a Danish government energy-efficiency website serving about 2,000 daily users and encountered persistent session-state failures, poor scalability and availability because the SQL Server session store could not scale and caused lost session data. To address this, Cybercom turned to Alachisoft and its in-memory distributed cache product, NCache, which fit their Microsoft ASP.NET environment.

Alachisoft implemented NCache as a fast, in-memory session store and distributed cache, removing the SQL bottleneck and providing high availability and linear scalability (doubling cache servers roughly doubles throughput). The result: reliable session persistence with no data loss during frequent deployments (every 2–3 days), improved performance and easier maintenance, and a cost-effective, scalable solution that Cybercom now recommends to other clients.
