NCache Enhances Cache Data Synchronization for CampMinder

CampMinder, a growing web-based summer camp management company, faced a critical scaling and fault-tolerance challenge: its homegrown single-node cache created a single point of failure and could not share session state across Classic ASP and ASP.NET. To address this, CampMinder selected Alachisoft and its NCache product to provide a multi-node distributed caching solution.

Alachisoft implemented NCache on two servers using a Partition‑Replica topology, enabling high availability, distributed session state (including Classic ASP via a COM+ wrapper), and a distributed locking mechanism for concurrency control. The deployment eliminated the caching single point of failure, allowed load balancing and maintenance without losing session state, reduced pressure on the database, and delivered faster, more reliable application performance—achieving these benefits with far less time and cost than building an in‑house multi-node cache.
