Traco Electronic powers up with PIM

TRACO Electronic AG, a Swiss power-supply specialist (also referred to as TRACO POWER), faced slow, manual product-enrichment processes, inconsistent product data, difficulty sharing information with employees and external partners, and no dedicated tool for managing photos, videos, and other digital assets. To address this, TRACO implemented Akeneo’s PIM—starting with the Community Edition and upgrading to Akeneo PIM Enterprise Edition to gain advanced data-sharing, automation, and asset management features.

Akeneo implemented Enterprise Edition with a rules engine, Asset Manager and supplier onboarding integrations across 15 users and ~6,000 SKUs, enabling automated filling of 20 attributes and centralized asset handling. As a result, Akeneo helped TRACO cut product enrichment time by roughly 30%, improve data quality and consistency, simplify partner access to product data, and provide SLA-backed support for faster issue resolution.
