How Kolmi Hopen Met Rising Demand through Improved Product Information Management with Akeneo

Kolmi Hopen, a French manufacturer of single‑use protective equipment, faced a rapid spike in demand during the COVID‑19 crisis while managing product information across dispersed teams and legacy Excel files. This decentralized, error‑prone approach made enrichment, localization, and timely sharing of certifications and assets difficult, so Kolmi Hopen selected Akeneo’s PIM solution (including Shared Catalogs) to create a centralized product information system.

Akeneo implemented a single source of truth with PIM features such as Shared Catalogs, table attributes, families/variants and asset management, giving internal teams and distributors direct, secure access to product data. The result: 63 internal and 15 external users, an average of 226 Shared Catalog connections per month, 83% of users logging in at least once, 84% of products with a high enrichment ratio, 100% product images, and product quality scores of 64% A and 36% B (May 2023)—improving efficiency, reducing errors, and speeding customer responses.
