Obelink, Europe’s leading outdoor and camping retailer, faced fragmented product information across online, catalog and in-store channels—managing data in Excel, its ERP and directly in the eCommerce platform, which created silos, poor collaboration and slow updates. To address this, Obelink selected Akeneo PIM to centralize product data and provide a single source of truth.

Akeneo implemented a PIM integrated with suppliers’ datasheets and Blue Retail ERP and used the PIMGento connector to feed enriched data to Obelink’s Magento webshop, annual catalog and POS; the marketing team, 4 product managers and 8 translators began enriching 33,000 SKUs. The Akeneo solution introduced workflow-driven collaboration and validation, enabling faster catalog expansion, consistent omnichannel product information and a significantly improved customer experience across all channels.
